a) IP anonymisationIn Google Analytics, the IP anonymisation function is automatically activated on the website. As a result, your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the EU or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google will use this information on our behalf to analyse your use of our website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide us with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. According to Google, no IP addresses are logged and stored in Google Analytics, but are only processed briefly for geo-localisation purposes and then deleted immediately.
